Big Diameter Nickel Alloy Pipe
CRA is pleased to announce that we have successfully provided large diameter (9-5/8” & 9-7/8”) Alloy 28 (UNS# N08028) pipe in range three lengths. The pipe was pilgered on our large bore mill located at The Timken Company’s plant in Canton Ohio. To our knowledge, this is the first time that such an alloy has been produced in 34’ to 48’ lengths. The pipe was supplied to three different international oil companies and has been successfully run down hole. We are now planning on providing those sizes in other high performance grades. New Employees
Craig Bush has taken a position as our Vice-President of Operations. During his 24 years working for a major oil company, he has served as both a COO and the president of a joint venture.  We look forward to the utilization of his organizational and management skills.

Carl Grasshoff has joined our company after 32 years in various positions in the metal distribution business for oil and gas equipment, most recently as V.P. of Sales. He will manage the relationships with downhole tool OEMs with whom we have long term agreements, providing mechanical tube and bar stock in a cost effective and timely basis.

Justin Boone has taken a position as our Plant and Facilities Manager. His expertise in setting up and running a warehouse will be beneficial in the accurate and timely delivery of mechanical products to support our OEM business as well as managing the activity and quality aspects of our pipe yard.

New Facility
CRA recently moved to our new location at 1310 W. Sam Houston Pkwy N., about ½ mile north of I-10 on the east side of the service road. The new facility has over 30,000 square feet of office and inside storage space allowing us to meet our ever growing inventory and human resource needs. .
