CORROSION RESISTANT ALLOYS

  Limits for CRA Tubular Components

Limits for CRA Tubular Components
Always refer to latest edition of NACE MR0175/ISO15156 for accurate limits.

- Tubular components now also have environmental limits.
- Production tubing, casing, subsurface safety valves, nipples and hangers may be made of "tubular components".
- The Grade C-85 13% Cr alloy is NOT included in MR0175.
- The modified 13% Cr alloys (such as Hyper 1 & 2) require lab testing.
- Other downhole environmental factors may have an influence on selecting the most appropriate alloy.
