For over 20 years, Corrosion Resistant Alloys, LLC (CRA) has led the industry in providing Just-In-Time (JIT) solutions for high-quality corrosion-resistant alloy tubulars. Our Just-In-Time model is supported by two primary supply routes that provide significantly reduced lead times to our customers: Manufacturing & Trading.
CRA’s tubular products include oil country tubular goods (OCTG), mechanical tube for downhole equipment, and schedule pipe and tube. It is not CRA’s intent to compete with standard mills, but to fill the gap when projects are met with the unexpected. Our specialty is non-standard situations such as expedited delivery times, custom sizes, specifications, lengths, or small production runs where customization, flexibility, and innovation provide additional value to our customers.
Founded in 2002, CRA’s global headquarters are strategically located in Houston, Texas, enabling quick material provision to locations across the globe. Initially operating as a distributor and stockist, since 2008, CRA has acquired two of the world’s largest cold finishing mills, a third smaller mill, and numerous additional pieces of manufacturing equipment while transitioning to a JIT mill manufacturing model.
In 2024, CRA successfully completed Phase I of construction at its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for Just-In-Time specialty alloy pipe & tube in Brenham, TX. In addition to our currently operating mill in Canton, Ohio, this expansion is aimed to significantly enhance manufacturing capacity and capabilities and increase speed by consolidating many processes under one roof. Corrosion Resistant Alloys offers a diversification of services through CRA-affiliated companies and partnerships: CRA Finished Tubes, LLC and PipeSearch, Inc. Each of these entities play a unique and critical role in better serving our customers and achieving our vision of being the fastest, most reliable, quality provider of corrosion-resistant alloy tubulars in the world.
The value proposition of our JIT Mill is simple: assist customers in securing specialized, custom specification pipe and mechanical tubing within the time frame required. The only API 5CRA licensed mill in North America, our JIT mill provides customers with quick turnaround when they need it most. CRA Finished Tubes’ size capabilities range from 2-1/16” outside diameter (OD) to 10-3/4” OD (expanding to 13-3/8” soon). We are capable of lengths up to 70’ as availability allows.
